The Road to Oscar, Part 14
SHOOT continues its 16-part “The Road To Oscar” Series; this installment includes:
>Kenneth Branagh, nominated for Best Picture (as a producer), Director & Original Screenplay for

>Writer-director Ryusuke Hamaguchi on Drive My Car (Janus Films and Sideshow) which garnered 4 nominations--Best Picture, Best International Feature Film, Best Director & Best Adapted Screenplay.
>Writer-director Sian Heder reflects on CODA (Apple TV+) and its 3 Oscar nominations--for Best Picture, Adapted Screenplay and Supporting Actor (Troy Kotsur)
>Editors Myron Kersten & Andrew Weisblum, nominated for their work on tick, tick...Boom! (Netflix)
>Cinematographer Dan Laustsen will discuss Nightmare Alley (Searchlight Pictures) and his ongoing collaborative relationship with director Guillermo del Toro. 
>Cinematographer Ari Wegner who made history as the second woman to receive a Best Cinematography Oscar nomination on the strength of her work on Jane Campion's The Power of the Dog (Netflix).



Leading Cinematographers: ASC
Current ASC nominees reflect on their recent feature and TV projects, and corresponding working relationships with directors. Providing insights will be:
>Paula Huidobro who was nominated for her work on the TV series Physical (Apple TV+). It's been an eventful stretch for Huidobro who also is know for her lensing of CODA (Apple Original Films), which just earned a Best Picture Oscar nomination.
>Jon Joffin, ASC, a two-time ASC Award winner, who garnered his fifth career nomination--for Titans (HBO Max)
